Yes, that’s true, but this is exactly the problem we solve with our service, which includes maintenance and support. We also launched our own ball machine, Padelmaster, in early May 2024. Padelmaster is more reliable than other machines. Now you can get a ball machine for your padel center without any worries and meet your customers’ needs.

First of all, our philosophy is based on the idea that you should work with a coach to develop your technique and strategy, while the ball machine’s role is to make volume training possible, both static and match-like.

That’s why coaches and ball machines complement each other well at a padel center. The ball machine is also a tool coaches can use to make training more effective. By more effective training, we mean that customers/students get to hit more shots during their session and coaches are in a better position to teach their customers/students. 

Coaches who have a ball machine at their padel center say they get more private lessons thanks to the ball machine. One theory we have is that the average player gets tired of padel (or other sports) when their progress stalls. A ball machine makes match-like volume training accessible, which leads to more progress and a greater need for private lessons.

On top of that, the padel center rents out more hours. Many of these hours are on weekdays during the day or early/late on weekends.

You don’t need anyone on site. Many of our padel centers are fully or partly unstaffed. The padel centers receive an instructional video that is shared with users when they book the ball machine, and there is also a QR code on the machine that users can scan to watch the video. 

No need. The ball machine should stay out 24/7, which is one way of marketing it. Worried about theft or vandalism? That’s nothing you need to be concerned about: we own the machine and are insured against theft and vandalism.

Worried that customers will use the machine without paying? It has happened, but it is extremely rare and therefore not a problem at our padel centers.

Quite the opposite. The more people try the machine, the more of them become returning customers, so your rental volume grows over time. Having lots of curious people at the start is only a good thing, because it gives you a better starting point for building a base of returning customers.

The vast majority (almost all) of ball machines were originally developed for tennis. Padelmaster is the first machine in the world to be developed and designed by padel players, padel coaches and padel centers.

Great, we love it when padel is buzzing. With a ball machine, you can also increase occupancy on weekdays during the day and at off-peak times on weekends.

For us, just as for you, padel is a passion. One of our strongest driving forces is helping padel centers. That’s why we offer all padel centers a three-month satisfaction guarantee, which means you get your money back after three months if you can’t see that your revenue exceeds your costs. Let’s say that after three months you have revenue of €500/month and costs of €300/month (the cost of our service). As long as you put in a bit of effort, revenue will keep growing, except in the low season (summer and December). That way, you can feel confident that the investment will generate a growing return over time.
